Winter is a time for substantial fare and this is true for wine as well as cheese. This tasting will be a celebration of rich and robust styles for cold nights. There will be some of the usual suspects this is the time of year when fortified wines really come into their own but we will also explore golden, honeyed Vouvray alongside the Port and Palo Cortado. It is also the season to drink ripe and luscious reds, so we will consider the best cheese matches for these classic winter warmers.
